Marshal Cromett was balding, of average height, and stocky.
The son of a promiment Juneau, Alaska industrialist, the marshal as appointed a top admministrator for supplying amterial for the construction of H.M.S. Phoenix at Whittier in 2005. He insinuated himself in Admiral Ffolkes good graces, then revealed himself to be the queen's personally appointed land mililtary commander for North America. It says much about Ffolkes' credulity that he accepted Cromett's claim without question. The marshal appointed himself to the rank of lieutenant general and took command of the British North American Colonies' growing army.
Ffolkes soon appointed Cromett to the exalted rank of field marshal and remained in command until Ffolkes' death. Cromett commanded the UKA's forces in some of its greatest victories, including Silver Springs, Corvallis, Reedsport, Cottage Grove, and Sitka.
When Ffolkes was assassinated in 2011, Cromett appointed himself prime minister by pressuring the Parliament into the office on the basis of his control of the Royal Guards. and a forged will of Ffolkes. Cromett was known for the annexation of the remainder the former state of Oregon, the construction of the Bunker, and his promotion of the exploration of the world as it now was.
Cromett decided to flee Portland for a circumnavigation of the world, reputedly to get away from his obnoxious second wife. He, with his henchman, Vice Admiral Dolphin suceeded in laying the foundation of the future UKA on this cruise, with their defeat of the Roman Empire off Alexandria, Egypt in the summer of 2015.
The marshal was killed at the head of his beloved Grenadier Guards at Gloucester, England on 16 September 2015. The Grenadiers still parade their regimental colors, stained with his blood, on ceremonial occasions and on the anniversary of his death.
Marshal Cromett was married twice and had eleven children, one of whom became prime minister of the UKA, and two others became kings of Portugal and Northern Italy respectively.
