She was born and raised as the single child of two hard working parents. She never got too much attention and was allowed a great deal of personal freedom concerning things like school . The only thing that managed to capture her attention and made her show discipline was the martial arts dojo she attended from age 6 on. Her Parents thought it was a good thing for her to be able to defend herself and they where right. She grew more and more independent from her parents and started to hang out with with a kind of gang in her home town and her skills with knifes where equally useful as her martial arts training. Worse became worst when she was arrested during some fight with another gang and was charged with grievous bodily harm. Her parent reacted in the only way they could and paid the best lawyer money can buy for her, and he managed to get her into boot camp instead of prison.
Boot camp did a miracle for her, for the first time she learned some discipline. She enrolled for service and made it into special forces. During campaigning she was wounded a few times but always recovered completely. After she was caught behind the enemy lines she spend almost a year as prisoner of war, only the some scars all over her body tell of the time, she remains in silence about it.
Afterwards she got a position as hand to hand and knife fighting instructor. She spends a great amount of time to keep herself in shape and hone her skills. Her special love are knives, she is sudden death with any weapon she can use and maybe even more unarmed, but knives and throwing knives are her specialty. After she returned from her time as POV she seemed to be unable to recognize physical pain, at more than one time another instructor had to get her attention to an injury she had gotten during training. She is not a violent person all in all, and it takes a lot to provoke her anger, when she has to resort to violence she does it with methodic calmness to do maximize the damage she can.
First Sergeant Ramirez was assigned to the Special Forces Training School at Joliet, Joliet Province as an unarmed and knife combat instructor.
