Office: Queen
The daughter of the UKA's fifth prime minister, and grand daughter of the second, Queen Margaret has breathed the air of UKA politics since the day she was born. She has the reputation of being extraordinarily protective of her husband and their children. Their are rumors current in the city of Portland that she personally executed the previous Prime Minister, David Borisov, when he attempted a coup d'etat and then covered the event up with considerable skill. Unlike Patrick's first queen, Maria de Cherruca of Peru, Margaret appears to be utterly loyal and faithful to her husband and the royal couple seems to have a close relationship. Queen Margaret attended the University of Portland from 2027 to 2031, earning a degree in Political Science. She was commissioned an Ensign in the 2nd Grenadier Guards upon graduation, and after two years of service, she volunteered to join a Royal Ranger mission to bring back information about conditions in the Roman Empire. After doing a creditable job she returned to the UKA and resigned her commission. She served in several sub-cabinet level appointed positions in the government. In 2035, when Queen Maria attempted to overthrow King Patrick and take the throne for herself and her lover, Margaret helped keep the bureaucracy loyal to the king.
Eight months after the death of Queen Maria, Patrick and Margaret, whom he knew since childhood, began dating. They married in 2037. Since then, she has been his political right hand.
