Crown Princess Maureen is a stockily-built woman with green eyes and shoulder, length dark brunette hair. She is always aware of her status as heir to the throne, this tends to make her rather cold and aloof to people she does not know well. Like her father, she doesn't suffer fools gladly and has no patience with people who waste her time.
King Patrick's oldest child, Crown Princess Maureen has faced the knowlege from birth that if she survives, she will be Queen of the UKA. Trying to live up to the heritage of her grandfather, King Josh, five time winner of the Victoria Cross, and her father King Patrick, the UKA's highest scoring fighter ace, is a constant struggle for her. She tends to overdo things as a consequence.
The fact that her mother, Princess Margaret was assassinated when she was still quite young, has made her a bit fatalistic about life in general.
Graduating second in her class from the Lahaina Naval Academy in 2040, she volunteered for the UKA's Submarine Service. After two years of service on H.M.S. Shark, she volunteered for the new and highly dangerous Airborne Submarine Corps. During the War of 2044, she and her X-Boat were dropped into Lake Michigan and spent a better part of a month operating against the Muslim's lake lines of communications, sinking 11 ships for a total displacement of 4,231 gross metric tonnes. In 2045 she was given command of the new long range cruiser submarine H.M.S. Erebus. After a long deployment in the Pacific where she sank a Japanese battleship of the Ise Class, she was brought ashore by the order of her father and transfered to the Royal Army. Promoted to Brigadier General, she was given command of the Palace Guard Armored Brigade, a post similar to that held be her father at the time of her birth. She likes the responsibility of the new post, but misses her life in the submarine service.
