At first glance, you wouldn't recognize him as the wealthiest man in the UKA, and son of its greatest military hero Admiral Duncan Keaton, First Duke of Prince Rupert. The duke has the reputation of being ruthless and spoiled, and always getting what he wants. Since he couldn't inherit the throne, it is rumored, he decided to marry it, instead. Little is publically known about the nature of his relationship with the crown princess. They keep their family life as obscure as they can.
The duke's military career has been, to say the least, undistinguised. He has been in minor staff roles around the palace and the Imperial General Staff since he graduated first in his class from the Lahaina Naval Academy in 2042. The duke is far from stupid, even if he hasn't applied himself. His rapid promotions are believed to be the result of nepotism rather than any evidence of unusual military ability. Most observers think that his military career is the result of social pressure due to who his father was, rather than any desire on his part to be a navy officer. It is well known he spends most of his time involved with running the Keaton family business empire and Constitutional-Monarchist political activity, rather than performing any military duties.
