Monarchist Party

The Monarchist Party believes that the only form of government that can protect the security of the peoples of North America is a near absolute monarchy. Only dynastic succession can provide the consistancy needed to preserve the succession of power. Upon receiving party officeor when declaring candidacy for office in the party's name, all members must swear an oath to "defend the powers, rights, privileges, and succession of the House of Dolphin unto death."

The Monarchists' current platform issues include:

• A strong military force with an active military role in government.
• A pro-active foriegn policy centering on Europe.
• A severe reduction of Parliament's powers.
• The unconditional right of the monarch to rule by decree.
• Genocidal annhilation of the Islamic States of the Midwest.
• Heavy investment in education focused on enhancing state power.
• Free trade.
• Heavy investment in technological development related to the military.
• A major expanision of the miltary forces of the UKA and the unification of North America by force in the near term.

A minor party never holding more than 8% of the seats in the Parliament the party is sworn to weaken, the Monarchists have always been allied to the Constitutional Monarchists despite the fundamental divide between the two parties' philosophies. The Monarchists strongly feel that the king's support for the Con Mons is a ploy he uses to keep the populace in line and that some day, soon, he will clamp down on the disease of democracy.
